HHA Selected for DOL Project
Hyman Hayes Associates in partnership with DuBose
Associates of Hartford, Ct was selected by the U.S. Department of Labor
as the architects for the Glenmont Job Corps Center. The project
includes three new dormitories to replace the existing obsolete dorms
and a 7,500 square foot addition to the recreation center for gathering
spaces, weight room and computer rooms. The project budget is
approximately $20 million and construction will be completed in multiple
phases over a 3-year timeframe.
New Staff
Tori Means
and Kathryn McMonagle have joined the firm as intern
architects.
Ms. Means,
who resides in Troy, is a graudate of Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute. She has worked for Kaehler Moore Architects LLC, MSE
Power Systems, and Norman Means Building and Remodeling.
Ms.
McMonagle resides in Albany and is a graduate of the Syracuse University
School of Architecture. She previously worked for Carmichael and
Associates in Rochester.
Golf Around the Capital Region

Staff from HHA participated in the recent
Epilepsy Foundation's Golf Around the Capital Region miniature golf fund
raising event. The team designed and constructed a composite of
various locks on the Mohawk River. The golf hole won the
"Player's Favorite Hold Award", receiving the most votes from
people who participated in the fundraising event. More photos HERE.
