Large expanses of glass will bring natural light into waiting and treatment areas. The layout pulls patients from the waiting/reception area into clinical areas past a centrally located healing garden. Patients undergoing treatment for cancer have views into the garden rather than a blank wall. The entry area includes a conference/ community room, library and café that lessen the institutional atmosphere and are available for general public use and education.
