Saratoga Hospital commissioned Hyman Hayes Associates to relocate the existing physical therapy suite at its highly successful ambulatory care Wilton Medical Arts facility and renovate the 1,800-sf space into a Breast Center.

The suite contains two mammography rooms, two large private changing rooms, and a stereotatic room with a dedicated changing room so patients can rest as long as they need after their procedure. The finishes selected provide a home-like setting and minimize the clinical feel and corresponding apprehension that patients feel.

Hyman Hayes Associates prepared various conceptual layouts with associated construction budgets showing a range of space and cost alternatives. The Hospital weighed the alternatives and selected the option that best balanced budget and programmatic requirements.
