Samaritan Hospital decided to convert an old operating room suite into a Cardiac Catheterization Suite. The 4,170-sf space was at the center of a conglomeration of old buildings.

Hyman Hayes Associates prepared several conceptual floor plans as possible pre-op and post-op configurations. The cath lab required a complete gut renovation of the existing space to provide a plan that includes five pre-op/post-op beds with a small central nurses station, change areas for men and women, and physician work areas.
