In an effort to expand the reach of their outpatient services, Saratoga Hospital asked Hyman Hayes Associates to program and design a 6,000-sf urgent care facility with imaging services.
The $565,000 project involved the renovation of a former orthopedic doctors office and fit-up of shell space. The two components share front-end, waiting and office space but then separate patients into private clinic and imaging suites for exams and treatment.

The renovation portion of the project converted an existing doctor's office into a six-room urgent care suite with ultrasound and x-ray capabilities and added a 3-station phlebotomy area and clinical laboratory.
The imaging suite fit-out approximately 2,000 sf of shell space with an MRI, CT, shared control room, two change rooms, reading room and support spaces.
