Following a 60,000-sf renovation that provided additional laboratory, administrative, and executive office space, Albany Molecular Research commissioned Hyman Hayes Associates to design a lobby renovation at its 100,000-sf corporate headquarters.

The focus of the renovation was twofold: provide additional special function spaces adjacent to the lobby and upgrade the aesthetics to convey the image of a Fortune 500 company.

Upgraded finishes improved aesthetics. The lobby was redesigned to include a glass wall vestibule, a custom-designed half-round suspended soffit, custom-designed glass wall sign and coffee table, and leather chairs and artwork. All these features created the upscale image that AMRI sought.
