The 10,500-sf neuroscience clinic combines exam space for pediatrics, general neurology and neurosurgery patients. Color was used in floor patterns, millwork and painted soffits to break down the scale of the clinic and provide wayfinding. Starting at the 49-seat waiting room, a curving wall is used to both enclose structural bracing and to divide the waiting room into smaller seating groups. Wood panel wainscoting further accentuates and makes a focal point of the curved wall. The large exterior windows provide natural light while a continuous wood chair rail ties the entire waiting room together.

The pediatric area has a separate waiting area with playful colors which are carried into the clinic space both in floor pattern, millwork, handrail/bumpers and even exam room seats. The general neurology area is primarily burgundy while the neuroscience area is primarily green. At the corridors the floor pattern and handrail color matches the department color scheme and act as wayfinding. At the center of the clinic are the separate nurses' stations and scheduling areas. At these locations the floor pattern is predominantly the color of the department specialty, green or burgundy but has some of the adjacent specialty's color mixed in as well to meld both into one overall department.
