In case you missed it, Margaret "Maggie" MulCahy is the practice leader for Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) at HHA. She has devoted several years to mastering the art of designing ASCs, leading HHA's efforts on centers of various sizes and specialties. Along with design, Maggie has conducted extensive research on current and future Best Practices for Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
At present, Maggie is overseeing four ASC projects. Two are in the design phase, while a 17,000 square foot Ortho center is currently under construction. Her most demanding project involves establishing design standards for a national healthcare institution. Maggie is creating a versatile kit of parts that can be utilized to design any type of ambulatory surgery center.
