Progress at Siena College
McGuire Hall at Siena College serves as the admissions building for the college. Depicted is the bell support structure that will suspend three large bells about six feet in the air; the largest bell weighs over 3,000 lbs.
It will soon be clad in brick veneer, and the building is nearing completion. HHA is the Structural Engineer of Record on the expansion and renovation. CSArch is serving as the Architect of Record for the project.
Renovation work includes the removal of interior bearing walls to open space on the first floor. Expansion work includes a wood-framed three-story office addition on the east side of the existing building and a steel-framed event space off the north side of the existing building.
